:: holiday here i come! ::

good morning everyone!

its a Monday morning and im back...hehe yesh the beginning of April marks the start of my "working" holiday...weird rite to get school holiday when the rest of the Malaysian kids are not getting school holiday?....thats because i follow the Japanese school holiday system...spring break~..which is good in a way...then i get to go to redang at the right time of the year..yeaps im going to redang on the 11,12 and 13th of april with the form 6 bunch if nothin silly pops up....

got woken up by a phone cal today from my kinddy boss mrS patricia....i think i was offered a more pay and an opportunity to learn under one of P&J best personnel during my two weeks of holiday or was it for a month?....i wasn`t too sure ...i really just woken up...now come to think of it i didn`t even wished her good morning?...that shows you never ever talk to your upper personnel when you just woke up..such a bad impression ..dang i shall never ever do that mistake again......but anyway im sorta had my whole holiday planned out for a real holiday..away from where im at now... and also im not ready to let go of the P&J branch that im working at in saujana....i like the kids im with there....i like the environment there..i like the kids i have grew to love there..so yeah don`t wanna leave yet...

the last day of the school term last friday was a day of such mixed events..being it a happy occasion cause some kids are graduating...but be it a quite sad occasion cause 2 bro and sister kids are leaving to go back to japan for good...there were actually 3 kids who were suppose to be transferred to the Japanese kindergarten ...but after all the kids went back...one kid started to cry and wail when his mom told him he isn`t cominag back to perter and jane...poor diagorou..must have been though for a 3 year old to go through a separation process like this....it was so bad his tantrum and unwillingness that after 1 hour he went home his mother had to come back to peter and jane weeping ad asking from miss adrina if her son could come back to study in peter and jane..and when she came back with such a worried face we thought what happened...sigh~

i received presents and goodie packs during my last day of the semester....i was given a very nice glass bead sakura flower hand phone accessory from karin and yuki who are going back to japan for good....stamp pads ink and stamps and also a box of dry pasta from shogo who graduated...a super cool party package from lucas..my my that is one impressive party package i have received .... and i also received another party pack from yuki and karin which had shinkansen cartoon labelled on the food packages in the goodie bag!

this is how impressive the goodie package from lucas looked like..everything has a lucas fravi name printed on each and every goodie in the package..one joy a bundle of joy



apart from school..i also went to M! the opera with swee keng and chai kun last Tuesday at istana budaya..that was such a last min thing cause it seems some big shot wanted to watch the play and so a last min performance had to be showcased on that very Tuesday...i heard tat the other planned days are sold out or fully booked....we got the tickets through swee keng's church friend the lead actress of that play..i think dear Sk didn`t know about her friend being the lead untill the play started...anyway ..heheh we actually got lost on the way there for a better picture of what happened and what i became in the car...go to CK'S blog to fidn out lah har....

M! was a good Malaysian effort i would say...it could have been better i suppose ..since its al about the fashion world would have to give accolades to the costume team....the costume were really amazing it was just that the colours were too many at a few particular scenes and a little too bright making it very confusing moreover the uncountable number of ppl on stage was also a little hectic....there wasn`t much focus on certain scenes cause there were too many happenings at one time...untill i don`t even know where to focus on or even who was talking.....the costumes could have distinguished the main and supporting cast..too many ppl on a stage is quite eye boggling.....since this play is in malay and english.. there were subtitle to cater for the crowd. the malay part was a little difficult to catch as sometimes it is being sung in pantun form..and i had to rely on the subtitles...the subtitling idea was good just that it wasn`t efficient enough...at times the subtitles come out before the actually words from the actor mouth and you would see me laughing before then..sometimes it just doesn’t` come and not only me but ppl around me did get confuse on what just happend..so yeah those could be improved......the main actor khir rahman who played M didn`t leave me with such a great performance i think george chan who played kerabat his rival which was a supporting role was even more memorable...Doreen tang as the lead actress no doubt i think she was very good in her role as sepi!....peter ong also did a great job as soloman....the little girl that played sepi during her childhood years was also fantastic to have been able to sing at such a high and amazing note!..the director for this play was indeed the woman who judge the platy that i was in during my form 5 year..we were this close to enter the state level but it seems our play was not dramatic enough to win over sri aman during those days.....we gotten second place in the end..making sri aman worthy of the state level....

caught up with meng yit and prashant for a movie on saturday night...was suppose to watch date movie but it was not screening anymore ..and lucky number sleven timing was out so we watched yours, mine and ours the 2006 show and not the 1968 yours mine and ours...i really liked the 1968 production when i watched it during my very much younger days....for the 2006 show they kept the names of the two families and practically the entire story line changed for this movie to fit this era....its quite hilarious ..tho i wouldn’t say as good as the 1968 one...but worth it if you are in for a laugh!
